Your profile

Basic information for application review, communication, scheduling, and—if approved—your public designer profile.

The name shown publicly if your profile is approved.
Private. Used for application review and account administration.
Uses a standardized geographic region list to avoid spelling inconsistencies. The field is labeled “Region” and does not assign political status.
Standardized multi-select. Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese are separate options for client communication matching.
Primary professional role *
Choose the option that best describes how your practice is organized today. This is descriptive only—it does not affect eligibility, ranking, or verification. Your actual production model is recorded separately in the Capabilities section.
If more than one applies, choose the closest overall fit. You can describe the rest of your working model later in the application.

Your design practice

Broad enough to keep registration simple, structured enough to support reliable matching.
Jewelry categories *
Select the categories that genuinely represent your current work.
Materials *
Select the underlying materials you regularly design or produce with. Plating and surface appearance are separate.
Example: gold-plated brass = Brass + Gold Plating. It is not stored as solid 18K Gold.
Metal finishes & surface treatments
Select finishes you can reliably offer through your practice or established production partners.
Gemstone experience *
Select gemstone families with which you have meaningful design, setting, sourcing, or production experience.
Trade names, origins, treatments, and color descriptors—such as Paraíba, Padparadscha, Kashmir, “Jedi”, heated or unheated—are not core designer tags. They belong in specialty or project-specific stone data.
Stone handling experience
This helps distinguish general gemstone familiarity from experience with higher-risk or unusual stones.

Techniques & making capabilities

Technique is deliberately more detailed because it materially affects project feasibility and designer matching. Select all capabilities reliably available through your practice.
A selected technique is a self-declared capability. It does not become a public “verified” capability until Timeless Atelier review requirements are satisfied.
How are these capabilities typically delivered? *
